If you get a chance, watch the entire first episode. The writing is good, the sketches are great, and the character portrayals of people from my hometown are fantastic. Thank you IFC, I haven’t been this excited for a comedy show on television since the last season of 24. Ohaachakka!
I am curious to know how people react to this show that are NOT from my region. It’ll be interesting.
Here is the much anticipated sequel to “Swappy Seconds – Part 1“. My shorts are entirely too short and my shirt too small. I apologize for both in advance. A HUGE thank you to DeStorm Power for the cameo. This man works harder than any I know and is a good friend from the Samsung Mobile Explorers competition in Vancouver, BC. Check out his vids on YouTube. Boom.
Part 3 with Freddie Wong has been filmed and is being edited. It’ll be epic. Stay tuned!
Yeah, I listend to that fuckin Justin Bieber song that made it’s internet rounds where it had been slowed down 800% or some shit. Garbage. Especially when compared to this bit of John Williams perfection.
I love Jurassic Park. No, I fuckin LOOOOOVE Jurassic Park. I was at the perfect age to enjoy it when it came out. I bought the soundtrack immediately, wrote letters to the actors, basically worshipped velociraptors and Ariana Richards alike. Yup, I was THAT kid. Now, sit back and enjoy the slooooow journey back to Isla Nublar.
Watch this video. Fall in love with Ricky Gervais all over again.
I’ve never been to any sort of entertainment awards ceremony, let alone the Golden Globes, but I hope to attend someday. However, I have the feeling they’re just as stuffy and conservative as they look on TV. I appreciate someone, especially Ricky, coming in as host and shaking it up a bit. I truly believe comedy is an art form that needs to be taken lightly in all respects. Yes, we make jokes based on truths in order to comment on the absurdity of a situation. Yes, these jokes are meant to lighten people’s perspectives on said situations. No, you shouldn’t be offended if a comedian makes fun of you. Be honored. Going off some of the crowd’s reactions in this clip, they chose the former. It’s like when you roast someone. The jokes are mean, cruel, and brash. They’re also a fantastic way to let go of your own insecurities and have a laugh. Go, Ricky Gervais. Go, girl, go.
